What is Ethanol DA-2I Technical Grade?
Ethanol is a volatile, flammable, colourless liquid with a slight characteristic odour. Also called Denatured Ethyl Alcohol, it is denatured with isopropyl alcohols.
What is the main difference between Ethanol DA-2I and Ethanol DA-2A?
The main differentiator is that DA-2I does not use methyl alcohol (methanol) when being manufactured. Ethanol DA-2I is manufactured with isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol) and ethyl acetate. Some may consider Ethanol DA-2I a less toxic option. We cannot say that Ethanol DA-2I is permitted for the pharmaceutical or personal care industries.
What are the permitted uses of Ethanol DA-2I?
The permitted applications are as an organic solvent, printing inks, protective and decorative coatings, resins etc.
