What is Acetone?
Acetone is a volatile, organic solvent commercially produced since the 1800s. It was discovered in 1606 by alchemist Jean-Baptiste van Helmont.
Acetone Technical Grade is a high-purity, industrial solvent recognized for its effectiveness in a wide range of applications. It is a clear, colorless liquid, specifically formulated for demanding industrial and laboratory use.
Manufacturing
Acetone is produced through the cumene process, which oxidizes cumene (isopropylbenzene) to produce phenol and acetone as by-products. Chemical companies use this method because it's efficient and cost-effective.

I placed my order for 2% iodine and was surprised that it arrived in only two days! It was very securely packaged and arrived with a spare empty bottle/dropper and a small glass jar. Very happy with the product and the company.
