What is Talc USP Grade?
Talc USP Grade, is a high-purity talc designed to control microbial organisms. Suited for chewing gum bases, creams, lotions, soaps, facial treatments, and pressed powders, it conforms to USP Monograph requirements and FCC and PCPC specifications.
How is Talc USP Grade manufactured or produced?
Talc deposits result from the transformation of existing rocks under the effect of hydrothermal fluids; which are natural heated water solutions, carrying one or several of the components needed to form the mineral. Tectonics play a major role in the formation of a Talc deposit as they enable hydrothermal fluids to penetrate the rock which facilitates the creation of Talc.
Talc USP Grade is achieved by following Excipient GMP guidelines, ensuring controlled microbial presence for safe use in various applications.
